Man United star Antony has made his feelings perfectly clear after his “critics” have come after him over his struggling form and consistency at Old Trafford.
Antony was reunited with Man United manager Erik ten Hag in 2022 after the Red Devils dropped a hefty initial fee of £81.3m to sign him from Ajax.
The 24-year-old Brazilian winger played under Erik ten Hag at Ajax and has received the Dutchman’s backing at United, despite his underwhelming impact.
Antony went 26 Premier League matches this season without scoring before finally finding the back of the net in United’s 1-1 draw against Burnley at Old Trafford.
The United star produced a fine finish in the second half to break the deadlock, with Antony then celebrating his opener with a Sonic the Hedgehog toy.
Antony has only managed to score three times – two of which came in the FA Cup – across all competitions for United this season.
Despite his struggles in the final third, the former Ajax star has regularly featured under Ten Hag and the United boss has continued to put faith in him.

Speaking to The Athletic, Antony has insisted that he is not fazed by the transfer fee that was place on his shoulders and he ‘knows his worth’ as a player.
The Manchester United attacker also acknowledged his “critics” and sent a clear message to them that their criticism only motivates him to “work harder.”
“It [the transfer fee] doesn’t really impact me because I know my worth, the money is the money and obviously everyone speaks about it but no-one would if the performances of everyone and myself at the top,” Antony said.
“It’s something that is just a way of working harder, knowing I can get better, I know my worth and I will [show it].
“The critics are going to exist, and it’s something that makes me want to work harder, and prove to myself first.
