Liverpool on the lookout for Luis Guilherme of Palmeiras

Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola reports that Liverpool made an offer to sign Luis Guilherme. He previously disclosed in February that the Merseyside club intended to bid for the Brazilian youngster.

Nicola recently stated on his YouTube channel that Liverpool offered 20 million euros for Palmeiras’ winger. However, the Brazilian club demands £42.6m (50 million euros) for their prized asset, considering Liverpool’s offer insufficient.

Despite rarely starting for Palmeiras, Guilherme has already amassed 39 appearances and is esteemed in South America. Last week, the teenage sensation scored his inaugural senior goal, securing a 95th-minute victory against Independiente in the Copa Libertadores.

The young talent scored his maiden senior goal against Independiente in the Copa Libertadores last week. Previous night, he played for 24 minutes in the 0-0 tie against Sao Paulo in the Brazilian Serie A.

Liverpool in the pursuit of next Salah

Mohammed Salah remained Liverpool’s best and reliable forward over the years. Turning 32 in June, his contract with the Reds ends next year. Reports suggest he might stay at Anfield in the summer (The Athletic). However, Liverpool will eventually need to secure a top right winger for the long term.

The question remains: who can replace Salah and break his records? Is Luis Guilherme up to the task? Time will reveal. Liverpool fans would surely like someone to succeed Salah in the long run as time is running out. The upcoming summer transfer window is definitely going to be a crucial one for Liverpool.
