Liverpool signed a teenager from the relegated side Leicester City

Liverpool have completed the signing of the 16-year-old Trey Nyoni fron newly relegated side Leicester City as Fabrizio Romano confirms.

The Mersyside always look for young talent around the market and this time Nyoni came under their radar. Transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano confirms that Reds have secured the signing of the teenage midfielder this summer. He wrote :-

“Done, completed. Midfielder born in 2006, Trey Nyoni, makes his move from Leicester to Liverpool.”

The Liverpool Echo also revealed that Nyoni will go straight into U-18’s squad for the 2023/24 season. The teenager will not participate with the first-team as he still needs to gain more experience.

Posting on Instagram, Nyoni said goodbye to his old club and teammates :-

“I am grateful to all the players and staff at the club who have helped me develop over the past 10 years and I wish nothing but success to everyone at the club.”

However with Nyoni’s addition, Liverpool also confirms the signing West Ham youngster Amara Nallo. The centre-back recently signed a scholarship with the London-based club.

Reds have secured high amount talents from around the globe in recent years due to changes in rule after Brexit. Since then, Liverpool have secured the signing of Ben Doak, Kaide Gordan, Bobby Clark, Stefan Bajcetic and Trent Kone-Doherty.

Meanwhile, all eyes will be on Nyoni as he comes huge reputation. Born in 2003, the English midfielder is also eligible to play for Zimbabwe. He is exciting prospect as Romano called him a ‘talented midfielder’.

As per the SecretScout on Twitter, Nyoni was described him as “one of the best player in his age group”. He has tall stature and is known for his technical abilities.
