Former Football legend Owen Hargreaves claims he is a huge fan of Liverpool’s latest signing Wataru Endo and his skill sets.

The Japanese midfielder is a mystery for a all Premier League fans as he only spent few seasons at German outfit VfB Stuttgart. His signing was oy possible due to Liverpool’s new sporting director – Jorg Schmadtke.

Schmadtke knew Endo has huge potentiality and hence brought him to Anfield in this campaign. However another legend who knew about his exploits was Former Bayern legend Owen Hargreaves.

Speaking on the Premier League podcast, Hargreaves claims that Endo is an excellent professional. The Pundit also claims that despite short stature, the Japanese midfielder can leap high and win aerial duels.

Hargreaves discussed about Endo :-

“He’s not a sexy name like people wanted, but he is an impactful player. I really like him. He will be a six for them. Out of possession he is brilliant, in terms of pressing the ball. He’s amazing in the air considering he’s only 5ft 10, honestly. His vertical, it’s insane. He was captain of Stuttgart, captain of his country. An absolute leader. He cost £20m because he was 30 years old and had one year left, but I think they’ve got a bit of a steal there Liverpool.”

Hargreaves was a himself a fine player and as per footballing knowledge, he sees talent Endo. The Japanese international will be a complete suprise package if succeeds with Liverpool in this campaign.
