Sky Sports Pundit Clinton Morrison was impressed with Dominik Szoboszlai’s performance against Bournemouth FC at Anfield.
Reds won their first home game of this campaign as the match ended at 3-1 scoreline. Luis Diaz, Mohammed Salah and Diego Jota scored the goals for Liverpool.
However, New signee Alexis Mac Allister got a red card for challenge Ryan Christie in the 58th minute. However, the Cherries didn’t manage take advantage of it as they ended the match on a losing side.
Alongside Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo made their Anfield debut on Saturday. Although, the Hungarian midfielder impressed once again as he won a penalty which was converted into goal by Mohamed Salah.
Pundit Clinton Morrison claims that Szoboszlai will be a fruitful addition to Liverpool squad in this season. He said :-
“He looks promising. Him and Mac Allister were good but as we say they both like to get forward.
“He looks comfortable in possession. He just glides with the football and I think he’s brilliant. I thought he was really positive. Good signs for Liverpool. He’s a good player and it’s a tough place to go to Stamford Bridge and he done ever so well. I thought all the stuff that he showed on the day was really positive and I think he’ll be a brilliant signing for Liverpool.”
Szoboszlai already shown signs of maturity in his first games for his new club in this campaign. The 22-year-old will be key man for Jurgen Klopp as the season gets going.
