Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that Liverpool are still active in this summer transfer window as they’re still looking for a midfielder.
After some prominent names such as Fabinho and Jordan Henderson left the club this summer, Liverpool are currently looking for a holding midfielder. Reds missed out on both of their targets – Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo.
With all the speculations surrounding the club, Romano now gives update of the current situation. As per GIVEMESPORTS, The transfer guru informed that Reds are working on their strategies for rest of the transfer window.
Romano is also confident of the fact that Liverpool will definitely sign another new midfielder this summer. He said :-
“They feel that now is not to time to panic but to find the right player.
“Also, there is an internal discussion ongoing as Jurgen Klopp is going to decide who is the midfielder he wants to sign now in the coming weeks.
“For sure, there will be a signing.”
After all chaotic situation last week, Liverpool are now confident . According to Romano, Reds now ready to sign a new midfielder this summer after all the drama.
The club needs to regroup their strategies once again as both of their targets joined Chelsea this summer. There’s still a void left at the middle of the pitch for Liverpool this season.
In such disastrous situation, a club might loose it’s composure, but Liverpool is not having any of it. They stand firm on their decision which will leo the club in future.
