Youssoufa Moukoko has the interest of many European clubs after apparent Dortmund snub

Borussia Dortmund no longer have an interest in Youssoufa Moukoko, allowing multiple European clubs to make their move.

According to his nation’s Bild, the attacker is not providing much to the team and and is better off elsewhere. Despite his last season’s feats, the player is barely seeing play at the moment, playing no more than 47 minutes.

Indeed, the player has seen no starts this season and only four substitutions, making his stay in the club unlikely.

The player will likely become a free agent at the end of the month, as a contract renewal seems unlikely. Luckily, many clubs overseas are in need of a player of his calibre, and are willing to make the trade.

Liverpool and Chelsea are likely to acquire the player, but Newcastle are another candidate according to recent reports.

In a vacuum, the player would make a fine addition to the Bluesroster as they need slightly more aggression. However, considering how bad Chelsea’s current run is, this addition will likely do more harm than good to the club.

Indeed, while player is quite skilled, the 18-year old still needs some experience which is what Chelsea currently lacks.

Liverpool on the other hand does not suffer from such a limitation and is ready to take the player in. But closing the deal will not be easy as the player’s expectations seem a bit too high for anyone’s liking.

The club recently attempted to offer the player £4.4 million annual salary which his refused wishing for £6 million instead.

So far, nothing is certain as the player is still weighing his options. But it is certain he will be making a move.
