Tottenham are looking for Harry Kane’s replacement

Tottenham Hotspur currently do not have a perfect forward for their squad. The Lilywhites are depending on Heung-Min Son and Richarlison to score goals. However, the club has now begun to search for a player to replace their former prolific striker, Harry Kane. Furthermore, Tottenham could also consider selling Richarlison this summer if they get big offers for him so they can upgrade to a high budget forward. According to reports, Spurs are keeping an eye on Brentford’s striker, Ivan Toney. Signing the Brentford star could be a masterstroke transfer for Spurs if they can beat the other suitors. Furthermore, the former footballer, Teddy Sheringham said that he would love to see Toney at Spurs.

Sheringham said,

“I would love to see Tottenham nick him off of Brentford and get there before Arsenal do.”

The former Manchester United forward further added,

“Toney has got something about him. He carries himself well and can take on the mantle of being the main man at a club. Everyone is suggesting that he could be the icing on the cake for Arsenal, but I think he could be a big, big player for Tottenham at this moment in time.”

Joshua Zirkzee is another transfer target option for Tottenham

Joshua Zirkzee has been Bologna’s talisman this season. According to sources, Spurs are highly interested in the 22-year-old. However, Bologna could charge a ransom of £60 million for Zirkzee. The Dutchman has scored 10 goals and provided 3 assists in 27 appearances in the Serie A. Moreover, his defensive contribution and dribbling abilities make him a key player for Bologna. Besides Tottenham, other clubs have also shown in the striker. AC Milan, Bayern Munich and Arsenal are also looking to sign Zirkzee. Additionally, the Bologna manager, Thiago Motta said that the striker is not only talented but also very hardworking. As a result, Zirkzee will be a valuable and significant player wherever he goes.
