Adidas and Arsenal have temporarily suspended sales of the new 2023-24 authentic home shirt because of a mistake. The shirt was intended to celebrate Arsenal’s Invincibles season. However, it incorrectly displays 32 results from the 2003-04 season instead of the correct 38.

Apology and Refund Offer by Adidas

Adidas has expressed its sincere apologies to Arsenal and their loyal supporters for the inconvenience caused. In response to the mistake, the company has offered a full refund to those who purchased the authentic Arsenal 2023-24 home shirt. This gesture demonstrates Adidas’ commitment to customer satisfaction and maintaining their reputation for delivering top-notch products.

Adidas Capturing the Arsenal Legacy

The 2023-24 home kit captures the essence of the legendary 2003/04 jersey while incorporating modern elements. It introduces vibrant shades of bold red to pay tribute to the current team. The on-field edition features HEAT.RDY technology, ensuring optimal comfort for players during matches by facilitating ventilation and moisture absorption. Meanwhile, the supporter version features AEROREADY technology, which effectively keeps the body dry by utilizing sweat-wicking materials.

Adidas shows its commitment to the environment by making sure that at least 70% of the new home shirt is made from recycled and renewable materials. This supports their mission to reduce plastic waste by replacing new polyester with recycled polyester in their products by 2024.

Ray Parlour’s Nostalgic Reflection

Arsenal legend Ray Parlour, who played a crucial part in the Invincibles season, shared his excitement about the special home shirt. He remarked:

“Playing in that season twenty years ago, surrounded by so many wonderful players is something I will never forget, and it is great to see we are celebrating our club history by bringing out this new home shirt – something I think all the supporters will truly love.”
