Amid Liverpool’s personal terms claim, Chelsea are in “intensive talks” to sign a £103 million deal

Liverpool

Victor Osimhen is reportedly the subject of “intensive” talks between Chelsea and the Serie A striker. Liverpool is unlikely to become involved. Despite reports in 2023 that the Reds had reached an agreement on a deal with Osimhen.

It is untrue that Liverpool and Osimhen came to an agreement in October regarding Osimhen’s transfer to Anfield. Despite reports originating from Italy and now Chelsea is in “intensive talks” with him.

Italian journalist Valter De Maggio reported via Sport Witness that the Reds had reached a personal agreement with the 25-year-old. And were now in the process of negotiating a transfer fee with Napoli.

The Nigerian striker and Liverpool have not reached a personal agreement. And it seems doubtful that Liverpool will be able to pay the €120 million (£103 million) that Napoli is requesting for his services. It is said that Chelsea have already consented to pay this cost.

Chelsea are in “intensive transfer talks” to bring Osimhen

Currently, Caught Offside claims that despite pressure to follow the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability regulations, Chelsea are in “intensive transfer talks” to bring Osimhen to Stamford Bridge.

Even though it would be fantastic to have a player like Osimhen join Anfield. Jurgen Klopp is keeping focus on other transfers. Despite the abundance of injuries in defense during the 2023–24 season, the German still needs a new defensive midfielder.Liverpool is dominating on all fronts. If Klopp can sustain current levels of play, could win multiple trophies this season, even with gaps in squad depth.

It appears that Chelsea will likely be Osimhen’s next stop.
