Andretti Global HQ

In the latest development in motorsports, Andretti Autosport is launching a very ambitious project – the Andretti Global HQ.

Andretti Autosport is a known name in the world of motorsports. The company has teams in different motorsports series ranging from IndyCar to Formula E. The side was also venturing for a possible seat in Formula 1. However, the motives were not met with much appreciation by the F1 lobby.

Regardless, Mario Andretti – the owner of Andretti Autosport has confirmed a hugely ambitious project – Global HQ. The racing team is making a brand new HQ for their operations. The facility will cover a staggering 575,000-square-foot as the team plans to complete the project by 2025. The estimated cost is labeled at an astonishing $200 Million. The facility will be based in Fishers, Indiana.

1978 Formula 1 world champion Mario Andretti called the HQ to be “bigger than Ferrari’s” Maranello facility. Andretti Autosport owner Michael Andretti shared his views and plans on the project:

“This isn’t about IndyCar,”

he said.

“With this, we want to do something that’s never been done before.”

“We want to be in all forms of auto racing, from Le Mans to Monaco to the Indy 500 and the Daytona 500. And eventually in the future, we want it all to be under one roof. That’s our big goal, and we’ve got a lot of plans in the works to get there.”

Andretti is looking for an entry in Formula 1. Andretti has already tried a couple of times to secure a seat in F1. The American outfit tried to make its entry by striking a deal with Alfa Romeo. However, the deal never reached a conclusion.
