Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino responds to the questions related to Evan Ferguson. Chelsea are recently linked with a move for Brighton star Evan Ferguson. The Blues have done some noticable business with the Seagulls so far recently. Players like Marc Cucurella and Moises Caicedo have joined Stamford Bridge from Brighton. Moreover, they even hired their ex-manager Graham Potter last season whi was eventually sacked.

The Argentine manager was asked on the links with the Irish international after the win over Fulham. Chelsea won their fixture after Raheem Sterling won a penalty for his side. Cole Palmer completed the job with a composed finish from the spot. The boss was praising his players for winning and scoring the penalty. On questions, he said,

You know very well I don’t talk about rumours or players that are in a different club. I am so respectful. We are not talking. We are assessing the squad and if something happens we will communicate that to you. At the moment we didn’t take any decision.”

As a Chelsea fan, one will want the club to sign a proven goal threat like Victor Osimhen. Though, if not then the 19-year old can be an option depending on how he finishes the season. The Republic of Ireland international is looking like what it takes to be a Premier League striker. He has six goals in 18 appearances, something nit bad for his age. However, if he wants a big move he must finish his season is double digits of goal tally. The Blues however should focus on signing a more threatening target as he is still very young to bet upon.
