Ange Postecoglou praises Liverpool player after Spurs late win

Liverpool

Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou praised Liverpool Goalkeeper Allison Becker for performance last night after the North-London club’s late win.

Speaking to beIN Sports, Postecoglou shares his view after his team grabbed an incredible victory. Liverpool’s night at Tottenham looked cursed as there were incidents which were very unfortunate for a club.

VAR disallowed Luis Diaz’s goal due to offside, but latter when it was checked, the Columbian was inside position. Both Curtis Jones and Diego Jota were red cards as Liverpool ended the match with 9 men.

And to make things worse, Joel Matip scored a own goal at the very last minute of the match. Spurs were not best team last night but fortunes favours the brave.

However, Ange Postecoglou praised Reds Goalkeeper Allison Becker for his excellent performance last night. He said :-

“Well look, yes they’ve still got some top players.

“They’ve got a world-class goalkeeper who’s making unbelievable saves and it’s hard when you’ve got so many bodies in the box.

“I just thought maybe at times we could have varied the way we got the ball into the box, some of our crosses seemed to pick out some big guys in there.

“It’s not easy but the main thing is we got the job done.”

The Brazillian International is one finest goalkeeper in the Premier League currently. Stephen Warnock even declared him man of the match before the game ended.

His teammate believes Allison is the best goalkeeper in the world and few can disagree with that.
