Barcelona forward Ansu Fati have reportedly gained interest from Liverpool. The club is said to be well informed about the Ansu Fati situation at Barcelona. Fabrizio Romano have revealed in a surprising post that Fati could be available in the transfer market this summer. This update has come as a surprise to both Barcelona fans as well as general football fans. The transfer guru have confirmed that Liverpool is one of the clubs that is monitoring the player. Moreover, Fati’s situation in Barcelona is a strange one. Fati have been seen as one of the prodigious players of the club. He even donned the number 10 shirt bravely after Lionel Messi’s departure. Furthermore, the player even received the best young player in the Goal’s NXGN series of the same year. But even with all these the player does not get enough playtime.
Ansu Fati could be available in the summer transfer window
Romano has claimed that Fati could be available in the summer transfer window. Speaking on his YouTube channel, he confirmed Liverpool’s interest. Romano said,
“Keep an eye on the situation of Ansu Fati for the summer. For now, Barcelona are still protecting him. The second part of the season will be crucial to understand if Ansu Fati will continue at Barca or try a different opportunity around Europe in the summer. I can confirm that English clubs had conversations with the agent of Ansu Fati asking for potential conditions of the deal. Clubs like Man United, Arsenal, Liverpool were informed around the general situation of Ansu Fati.”
However, the interest is still in the very early stages for Fati. The Reds have contacted his agent as of yet. Furthermore, Romano claims that no other club has seen fit to start negotiations with Barcelona yet.
Fabrizio Romano further added,
“They never made any official bid or any negotiations with Barca, but they are well informed on the Ansu Fati situation. So, let’s keep an eye on this one for the summer, depending on Barcelona. At the moment as Laporta said they don’t want to sell him, they still love him as a Barca player, but it will depend on the second part of the season.”
Ansu Fati have only started in 7 games for Barcelona this season. His injuries have played a major role in his lack of game time under Xavi. Barcelona’s financial situation also is a problem for them to keep the player. Therefore they could sell Fati in the next summer transfer window.
