Arsenal are in a concrete negotiation with Brentford star Ivan Toney. Mikel Arteta also wants Ivan as he considers him to be Arsenal and his’ top signing. With Arsenal’s 1-0 victory over Manchester City last Sunday, they are looking to be serious contenders for the title. Moreover, it placed a marker on Mikel and his boys of not fading like the previous campaign. The victory means that they share equal points with their London rivals Tottenham Hotspurs.
Tottenham sits on the top of the table due to a better goal difference of 18- two more than Arsenal. Contributing to some great business by Arsenal in the summer, their side is looking much better this season. Despite this, there will be one position where Arteta would love to strengthen the squad, at the up front. According to TeamTalk, the north Londoners are in active negotiations with Brentford’s Ivan Toney, who is reported to be interested in joining the club once his ban from the game has been served. This might allow him to leave the Bees and join their rivals at London in January transfer window. Fans will also hope him to bring the first Premier League title to them in the last two decades.
