Arsenal looks to grab the opportunity to sign the Italian Winger. However, it will not be easy for the gunners to lure Insigne to their side next season.

Lorenzo Insigne coming up from Napoli’s youth ranks has been a mainstay for the club for consecutive eight years. Playing for the Italian side, Insigne has appeared 405 times, scoring 111 goals and 88 assists in all competitions. While he is also the captain of the club since 2019.

But the transfer rumours are yet to stop. Lorenzo Insigne current contract with Napoli is set to end in 2022. Following which several clubs have lined up to sign the Italian as a free agent, and the list contains mainly Premier League clubs. Why do Arsenal are keeping tabs on Lorenzo Insigne?

Arsenal starting the 2021/22 season had to suffer three consecutive defeats in their first three Premier League fixtures. However, the gunners somehow managed to get their form in their next matches.

The gunners have two serious problems at the upfront who are Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette. Aubameyang who has been the main threat for Arsenal in recent years has been struggling with form since last season. While Lacazette is probably going to leave the London club next summer as his contract ends.
