Arsenal are ready to sell Granit Xhaka in the summer

Arsenal are reportedly willing to sell Granit Xhaka in the summer, as the Swiss international is keen on returning to Germany.

According to Kicker, Bayern Leverkusen are interested in signing Xhaka and could be boosted with recent speculations. The Swiss midfielder has been exceptional for Arsenal this season and it came as suprise that he wants to move away from England.

As per GOAL, Mikel Arteta won’t stand in the Xhaka’s way should he decide to leave the club. However, Arsenal are ready to sell him for just £13 million. He has managed seven goals and provided seven assists this season across all competitions.

Bayern Leverkusen are chasing the Swiss midfielder’s signature and they currently stand in pole position to sign him. His current deal set to run until 2024.

It would be a huge suprise if Arsenal allowed Granit Xhaka to leave in the summer because he has been brilliant this season. But Gunners won’t stand in the way should he decide to leave in the summer.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are planning to revamp their midfield next season and they have been heavily linked with a move for Declan Rice. Arteta will like to add more firepower in the middle of the pitch for Gunners.

Xhaka could return to Bundesliga after seven years in England. Reports also claims that his wife is keen to return to Germany. The pair met during his time at Borrusia Monchengladbach.

But Bayern Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes has refused to confirm their interest on Xhaka.
