Arsenal could hijack th deal for West Ham United target Youssouf Fofana this summer for just £30 million, as per reports in the media.

According to L’Equipe, Gunners are lining up a move for AS Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana as an alternative for Declan Rice. West Ham United have rejected first two bids for their star midfielder and Arsenal have now submitted third bid worth £100 million plus £5 add ons.

Another headache arises for Hammers as Arsenal are switching attention to Fofana. Manchester City are moving in on signing Rice and hence Gunners have too look for other alternative signings.

Fofana would a outstanding signing for West Ham this summer. However they can loose both him and Rice and that could hurt Hammers boss David Moyes.

As per L’Equipe, Mikel Arteta is set to switch attention from Rice to French midfielder Youssouf Fofana. The manager has earlier admitted that they need new signings to win trophies next season.

But things are not looking that good for West Ham United. First loosing Declan Rice and then failing to replace him with the Monaco midfielder would be a huge blow.

Fofana is midfield powerhouse to possess high energy, athleticism, dynamism and strength in abundance. He is perfect for Premier League Football.

The French international is not all about pace and power. He also very good with the ball in his feet. He has been described as an “unreal” midfielder by Monaco’s official website.

Moyes will be hoping to bring Fofana to the London Stadium this summer.
