However, the deal with Turin will become permanent at the end of the season. Although, the Old Lady side is open to selling their midfielder for a profit.

According to reports, Arsenal have already opened talks with Juventus to sign Manuel Locatelli. The Italian is a brilliant midfielder. The report also claims that Mikel Arteta wants to sign him in the summer. Hence, there will be no movement on the transfer in the January transfer window. This will also likely mean that Arteta will only target a right-winger signing in January.
It also claims that Locatelli is the long-term replacement of Mohamed Elneny. The midfielder signed a new contract with Arsenal. However, he has suffered a long-term injury. The injury will likely keep him till the start of 2023. Hence, his future at the club is now in doubt. Therefore, searching for a long-term replacement for the 32-year-old midfielder is a logical thing to do for the Gunners.
JUVENTUS ARE OPEN TO SELLING THE ITALIAN MIDFIELDER
The report also states that Juventus are open to selling the midfielder. Manuel Locatelli was signed from Sassuolo on a two-year loan deal. However, there is an obligation to make the deal permanent at the end of his loan. Therefore, this year is when the deal will become permanent. However, the midfielder is not having a positive impact on the Italian side.
Hence, Juventus are open to selling Locatelli for a profit. The report also mentions that Arsenal had shown interest in him two years ago. However, the midfielder decided to opt for Juventus. Sassuolo club president also confirmed that the Gunners put in a bid for the midfielder. However, they had to accept Juventus because of the wish of the player.
