Arsenal out of the race for Brighton star Moises Caicedo

Arsenal are now out of the race for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo, as the he might join Chelsea this summer.

The Gunners were eager to sign Caicedo in January and saw their bid got reject. But the 21-year-old has now made his desire to quit Brighton in the summer.

After his transfer request was denied in January, Caicedo was quickly brought to team-sheet by manager Roberto De Zerbi. But now, he would allowed to leave the club this summer, if suitable bid arrives.

According to Teradeportes, Caicedo was eager to join Arsenal and personal terms were already been agree. But Brighton demanding more then £80 million made the deal impossible for the Gunners.

However, report also suggests that Arsenal were unwilling to enter into the bidding war with Chelsea. Gunners will now fully concentrate on acquiring Declan Rice from West Ham United.

Arsenal are set to pay a sizeable portion of their transfer budget to aquire the services of West Ham captain Declan Rice. But the opening got reject by the Hammers.

Chelsea’s opening bid has also been reject by Brighton. Blues will now offer a new bid closer to their asking price.

Both the london-based clubs are looking to remodel their midfield for next season.

Arsenal will allow Granit Xhaka to leave the club and Bayern Leverkusen this summer. On the other hand, Chelsea will also number of departures, as Mateo Kovacic will join rivals Manchester City and N’golo Kante will move Saudi Arabia soon.

Blues will again bring reinforcement in the summer and reshape their team once again.
