According to reports Real Madrid are interested in signing the Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus. Gabriel Jesus had joined the North London club from Manchester City in the summer. Though now reports suggest that the Brazilian is already being linked with Spanish giants Real Madrid. According to news outlet Defensa Central, the Arsenal signing is one of the strikers who have caught the Real Madrid president Florentino Perez’s eye. The Spanish club is looking for a substitute for Karim Benzema who has been suffering with injuries this season.
Real Madrid to show interest in the Arsenal summer signing
Arsenal will definitely not sell the Brazilian to Real Madrid this transfer window. Or even in the next transfer window. There’s no way Arsenal will let Gabriel Jesus leave the club mid-season after they signed the player from City for £45 million. It would not make any sense for them to do so. Gabriel Jesus have been an important player for the Gunners team so far this season. Therefore letting him go mid-season would not make any sense for them. As of now, Arsenal are 5 points clear from last season’s Premier League title holders Manchester City. If they continue to perform the same way they started this season, they might even win the league. The Gunners will definitely end up in the Top 4 this season. This will qualify them to play for the Champions League. Therefore they will definitely not be willing to sell one of their most important players.
Although Madrid is one of the biggest clubs in the world and have a rich history in the world of football, it is very unlikely for them to sign Gabriel Jesus. Though there is still a chance that Jesus might wish to leave if the Spanish giants do try to sign him. As they might win the UEFA Champions League again this season.
