Arsenal to update the artwork at Emirates Stadium

It seemingly looks like Arsenal are looking to change the artwork at the Emirates Stadium during this World Cup break. On Monday some fans posted on Reddit and Twitter that Arsenal are working on taking down the current exterior artwork at the Emirates Stadium. For a long time, the supporters have complained about the faded artwork at the stadium. It looks like the Gunners are finally taking note of their fan’s demands and requests.

The talks for the new upgradation have been going on since April now. It is one of the few changes that Arsenal planning on upgrading. Regular match-goers have noticed that the big screens have been replaced over the summer. Arsenal updated the fans about their plans on changing the artwork on their official website:

“We’re excited to launch the new artwork in January and many supporters may have noticed that, as the World Cup brings a break in our men’s fixtures, we’ve already started to remove the existing art. While this means the stadium will be ‘bare’ for a few weeks, we hope you’ll agree it will be worth the wait!”

Arsenal on exciting plans ahead for the fans at Emirates

There are talks of Arsenal installing new speakers at the stadium, though the timeline of when it will be done is not specified. Although the old banners outside the stadium won’t be replaced with an external screen as the club ruled that out due to council restrictions. It is good to see the ground getting an update while the team is doing so well at the moment. The new exterior artwork that is said to be completed by January has the fans excited for the future.
