Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez wishes each other luck after pre-season friendly game on Sunday.

Although it was a friendly, both the team played the match on a high intensity and sparked lot controversy in media. Lisandro Martinez’s tackle on Bukayo Saka was one of the main taking points of the match and Arteta shared his comment on the issue.

However, Spaniard now claims that he knows Martinez personally and that’s why they hugged each other after the match. He said in the pre-match press conference ahead of Arsenal vs Barcelona:-

“I was just happy to see him.

“I know him personally. It was happy to see him back after the injury and that’s it.

“Football is about the people that we know. We wished each other good luck for the season, and that’s it. It was a good and competitive game for us.”

The season has not yet started, the tension and heat is already at its peak. The four-coming Premier League season will be very crucial for both Arsenal and Manchester United. They’ll try to add more coveted trophies to their cabinet.

Both the clubs will look to win the Premier League Trophy again and bring glory days back for their teams. Eric Ten Hag’s side achieved little success last season, however some questions the fact that they had a better campaign than Arsenal.

Both the teams will play in multiple competitions next season, hence it will be a very crucial season ahead of them.
