Premier League legends Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville engage in a funny banter regarding forward Mohamed Salah’s market value.

As per reports, the Egyptian’s future at Anfield is not 100 percent certain just yet. Saudi club Al-Ittihad is desperate to sign Salah this summer.

Sky Sports suggest that Al-Ittihad is willing to pay excess of £200 million for the 31-year-old. However, manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed that Salah is not up for sale this summer.

However, both Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville were talking about Salah’s valuation on their channel.

Neville started the discussion by claiming that Carragher allegedly said off air that :-

“This man has just changed his mind off camera and said £200million!”

Meanwhile, Carragher replied to his rivals comments:-

“I actually think Mo Salah, when you look at what Kane went for, it was £100million, I think Kane was maybe a year younger.

“Salah looks after himself really well and has two years to go. I think for Liverpool to sell for what he’s worth, they are going to want way more.“Is he worth £150million if there was no Saudi Arabian situation? He’s probably around the £100million mark.

“But why have they left it so late? If they wanted him that badly, why wouldn’t they make this bid six weeks ago?”

As per club’s official statement, Mohamed Salah will not be sold to any club this summer. Al-Ittihad might have the money to lure him away but they’ll probably have to wait.

However, in today’s transfer market, anything can happen. Klopp also admits that Premier League club are now helpless in front of Saudi club’s money this summer.
