Former footballer and pundit Jamie Carragher is stunned with Tottenham’s transformation under new manager Ange Postecoglou this season.
Speaking on ‘An Echo of Glory’, Carragher states that Spurs have been showcasing excellent form as they are currently unbeaten in Premier League this campaign. The North-London might have a huge future under new new guidance of Postecoglou.
Carragher praised Spurs and said :-
“It’s been such a contrast from where Tottenham were.
“I can’t believe how well Tottenham are doing really because it is such a shift in terms of the football.
“And yes I know he has brought players in but there’s still a lot of players there who are used to a certain style of football under Conte and managers before that.
“So to come in and do what he has done – not just results but performances.
“But you think it can only get better when he brings more players in and the players working with him every day.”
Carragher also stated that Tottenham is currently out of European competition this season. Postecoglou should make most of the situation as Spurs are under a rebuild phase.
However, Liverpool’s next fixture is against Spurs as his old team will be under test. Both teams are unbeaten in Premier League this season.
Jurgen Klopp’s is currently in red hot form but they’ll have a different challenge this time around. Spurs do have a week to prepare as they were defeated by Fulham in League Cup this week.
But currently, Spurs are rebuilding their emotions with supporters this season.
