Cheick Doucoure will cost big for Liverpool this summer

Liverpool

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano stated that Crystal Palace midfielder Cheick Doucoure will cost big for Liverpool this summer.

Reds have been strongly linked with a move for Doucoure recently. With just few days left in the transfer window, there’s nothing concrete between both the clubs.

However, Fabrizio Romano claims Liverpool need pay a heavy fee, if they want to acquire the Malian talent this summer. Speaking on his Daily briefing, the Italian also spoke about Eberechi Eze and said :-

“Eze at Crystal Palace is also super appreciated.

“But they have the feeling that Palace don’t want to lose important players and only a crazy bid will change the situation.

“It’s a similar situation with Cheick Doucoure and Liverpool – the situation has always been the same. Liverpool asked for deal conditions last week, let’s see if they will decide to bid or not, but Crystal Palace want to keep Doucoure, he’s a key player for them so it could only happen in case of huge bid.”

Liverpool won’t sign Doucoure this summer as his current pricetag is too expensive for them. Romano also mentions the fact that Reds are fully aware of Palace’s tranfer strategies which will be imposed in future.

Until an unless something major happens, Liverpool will opt out to sign Doucoure this summer. Disappointment for supporters as they were eager to see the 23-year-old play at Anfield this season.

Palace’s pricetag of £70-80 million is too expensive for Reds. The transfer won’t happen as per current reports.
