Chelsea

According to reports, Chelsea are ready to offer Eduardo Mendy in a swap deal in exchange for Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.

Reports suggest that Chelsea are interest in the Cameroonian shot-stopper. The Blues are willing to pay at least £35 million for the deal. However, they also want to include Mendy in the deal.

The Senegalese international has lost his place in starting line-up since Potter joined the club late last year. But he was injured when the new boss joined, giving Kepa Arrizabalaga chance to play in Premier League.

Mendy represented his country at the World Cup, but hardly covered himself in glory throughout the tournament. Senegal qualified for the round of 16 stages but England defeated them to end their run.

However, Onana’s reputation got tarnished as he was sent home from the World Cup. He had a disagreement with the Cameroonian manager during the group stages.

Despite the international snub, Onana has impressed everyone at the club level. He was extremely important in Inter’s win over FC Porto in the Champions League. Inter Milan defeated the Portuguese club on an aggregate scoreline of 1:0. They will face Benfica in the Quarter Finals.

Chelsea are now having interest in Onana and, Inter Live suggesting they make look to pose a swap deal. Reports suggest that the Blues will include Mendy in the deal.

Potter’s side are having interest in a number of options to feature for the club next season. There is a report that Chelsea are also having interest in Brentford Goalkeeper David Raya, with compatriot Cesar Azpilicueta reportedly already trying to convince him to make the move across West London.
