Chelsea now want to sign Arsenal target Mohammed Kudus this summer

According to SkySports journalist Dharmesh Seth, Chelsea have now held initial talks and want to sign Arsenal target Mohammed Kudus this summer.

Speaking on the TRANSFER SHOW, Seth more details about the Ajax midfielder’s future. After loosing to Manchester United first, Arsenal will be also happy how their pre-season ended.

Gunners defeated Barcelona 5:3 in a brilliant match in L.A, United States. Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, Kai Havertz and Fabio Vieira were in the scoresheet for Arsenal.

However, Aaron Ramsdale wasn’t happy with one of the goals conceded. He shouted at Captain Martin Odegaard for a clumpsy mistake which went inside the net.

Arsenal have already brought quite a few players in this transfer window and they’re not done yet. Gunner have been linked with Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus, but Chelsea now look to hijack the deal as they’ve reportedly opened talks with the player.

Meanwhile speaking on the current situation, Dharmesh Seth said:-

“They have got other options if the [Moises] Caicedo deal doesn’t work out.

“It’s not obviously in the same position, but Mohammed Kudus who, we’ve been talking about him in the last couple of windows, Chelsea retain an interest in him.

“He’s the Ajax attacking midfielder, no official bid yet but initial talks have taken place between both clubs.

“Ajax are probably looking at this summer’s transfer window as being the optimum time to get the best transfer fee for Mohammed Kudus.”

Ajax value Kudus at £50 million and Arsenal might not want to sign him this summer. They’ve already spend big in this transfer window.

However, Chelsea holding talks with Kudus doesn’t stop Arsenal from getting the player, but his market value might go up.
