Manchester City will only be able to sign either Harry Kane or Jack Grealisd due to a shortage of finances this summer.

The English Premier League champions are planning to close the summer transfer window with the signing of Jack Grealish. They are thinking of offering him £100 million. Aston Villa has agreed on accepting an offer of £100 million for the Englishmen.

A recent report says that after Grealish they have changed their focus towards Harry Kane who is willing to leave his boyhood club Tottenham Hotspurs during this summer transfer window.

However, according to Manchester Evening News, Manchester City’s chances of signing the Lilywhites star centre forward if they are able to sign Jack Grealish.

Tottenham Hotspurs chairman Daniel Levy has put the value of the 28-year-old superstar striker at £160 million. The North London club are ready for the negotiations as the England captain’s contract is expiring in June 2024.

Will Manchester City be able to sign Harry Kane?

Harry Kane had an excellent campaign with Tottenham Hotspurs in the 2020-21 season. He has scored 33 goals and 17 assists in 49 appearances for the club last season in all competitions.

Kane has scored four times in seven outings at this summer’s European Championship for the Three Lions who reached the final and lost to Italy on penalties.

Harry Kane is a versatile and attacking centre forward. He has some advantages and disadvantages in his game. The English striker is good in finishing, long shots, key passes, through balls and the ability to head the ball on the opponent’s goal post. He is also good at controlling and holding the ball in his foot.

The disadvantage in his play is that he loses possession very quickly. He does waste possession many times in important and crucial matches. He wastes the chances either through a poor effort or trying to dribble through too many people at a single time.
