Chelsea summer signing Cole Palmer shares what has surprised him the most since his move to Chelsea. He told the Mail Online that the amount of gametime he has already had came as a shock, although he is aware of his own abilities. Despite him not confident much about himself, Cole is looking a deadly panic move. In his three starts for the club, he has managed atleast one goal contribution in each game. He was even on the scoresheet against Burnley. Cole said,

It has surprised me a bit but I know my own ability. And I knew that if I hit the ground running I’d have a chance and obviously make an impact. That’s why I went there.”

I thought I could break in. I looked at the squad and there are a lot of players who went, not as many as people would have thought in terms of attackers. It’s been hectic but that’s good, moving down there was a big change. I was in a hotel for a couple of weeks and then I got my own place. It is new and difficult, I don’t know how to do most things on my own so I’m learning.”

With his recent form, Cole has made it difficult for Mauricio Pochettino to drop him at the moment. Moreover, Chelsea will be having a big Premier League clash after the International break. Arsenal will be the next visitors of Stamford Bridge in the London derby. It will be one the biggest test for the Blues so far this season.
