Darwin Nunez is currently not injured suggests Club insider

As per rumours, Darwin Nunez was not seen during training, some suggested that the Uruguayan forward is currently not injured and might miss the opening day fixture.

However Liverpool Echo claims there’s nothing to worry about Nunez’s availablity for Sunday’s clash against Chelsea at Stanford Bridge. The 24-year-old was present in the training ground, but he was busy speaking to the media instead.

But the reason why Nunez was facing the media, instead of training with teammates ahead of the opening day fixture remains unclear. Although Echo suggests there is no visible sources which suggests that the 24-year-old is injured.

It would be a huge shame if Nunez misses the initial phase of Premier League season this term. The Uruguayan was in terrific form in the pre-season friendlies and he looks sharp and settled heading into the new season.

Nunez will be a “NIGHTMARE” this season

After a average campaign last term, Darwin Nunez will charged up to change his fortune in this term.

Speaking on TalkSPORT’s Premier League All Access Podcast, Scott Minto has been discussing about Uruguayan international before the new season gets unfold. He said :-

“The strikers have always been there. I can see Darwin Nunez being an absolute pest as always, but also sticking the ball in the back of the net. The midfielders they have brought in as well, particularly Mac Allister, are very good signings.”

The striker looked like a different menace in the pre-season tour. Jurgen Klopp will be all ready to fully unleash him in this campaign.
