David Ornstein comments on what he knows about the future of the Liverpool superstar

Journalist David Ornstein reveals what he knows about Mo Salah’s future with Liverpool. Ornstein says that Salah could be leaning towards staying at Liverpool more than the end of season. The Egyptian was a matter of interest from the Saudi side Al Ittihad in the summer. However, Liverpool turned down a mammoth bid for their superstar winger. Since then, there have been speculations of the Middle East to return in January or next year with a second offer. Owing to this, many fans believe that this could potentially be the last season for the Egyptian at Anfield.

However, according to Ornstein, this might not be the case with Salah. Speaking to the Q&A with The Athletic, the journalist shared what could be a god news for the Merseyside fans. He was asked about the noise on the future of Egyptian superstar. He said,

“No, other than I don’t think it’s set in stone he goes. I’ve even had some suggestions he would quite like to stay and continue to compete at the highest level in Europe. It’s a major decision for player and club, of course.”

It might be a good offer from the Saudi as it made many fans prepared for the exit of their superstar. Moreover, with the Saudi side playing regularly with only 1,000 fans. It might not be the case for him to leave. Furthermore, Liverpool could regain their Champions League spot and win a silverware this season. It may also tempt him to stay more. Besides this, moving from Premier League to Saudi Pro League will be considered as a decline to the career of him.
