The latest news from Bayern Munich and Inter Milan‘s camp is the transfer update on Benjamin Pavard. According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern have finally given ‘green light‘ to the this transfer, meaning that Pavard will be joining Inter in the upcoming days. Bayern will reportedly recieve €30m + €2m add-ons for Benjamin Pavard.

The German defender had been speculated to leave Bayern this summer. Multiple clubs were reportedly interested in signing him. Earlier this month, Manchester United seemed like the favourites to sign Pavard. However, there wasn’t any official approach made by United, therefore the deal did not progress forward.

Afterwards, almost two weeks ago, Inter came in as the frontrunners to try and sign Benjamin Pavard. They had already agreed personal terms with the defender, before making a formal offer to Bayern. The German champions were looking reluctant to sell Pavard. But the player’s push and intent to join Inter led to the Bavarians agree this transfer move.

Medical booked for tomorrow, Pavard will travel to Milan today itself

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has also confirmed that Inter have booked Pavard’s medical for tomorrow. However, the 27-year old will be traveling to Milan later today.

With all the formalities expected to be completed without any problems, Pavard is expected to be unveiled as an Inter player by tomorrow evening.

Inter have played two games in the Serie A so far, winning both the matches quite comfortably. They face Fiorentina in their next game on Sunday.

If the deal is done in time, Benjamin could start training with the Inter squad, latest by Friday and therefore be available for selection in Inter’s Sunday clash against Fiorentina and possibly make his first appearance for the club.
