Dean Saunders advices Arsenal to sign Sadio Mane in the summer

Former Liverpool striker Dean Saunders advices Arsenal to sign Bayern Munich winger Sadio Mane this summer to end their trophy drought.

Saunders suggested that, if Sadio Mane were to join Arsenal, then he might win you the league. The Gunners aim to go on next level after a making a return to Champions League after 7 years.

Mane left Liverpool last summer and joined Bayern Munich for £35 million. But it has gone very wrong for the Senegalese superstar.

Mane’s spell at Munich has gone horribly wrong. From incident that saw him punching his teammate Leroy Sane to being as unused substitute on the season’s final match day.

Hence, Mane could return to the Premier League this summer. Saunders now suggests ‘what a signing’ he would be for Arsenal.

During an interaction on talkSPORT, Dean Saunders urged Arsenal to make the most of Mane’s situation. He further stated:-

“I have got one for you, he might win you (Arsenal) the league. Mane. What a signing would that be! He plays anywhere. He plays down the middle.”

Earlier in April, Journalist Florian Plettenberg stated that Bayern Munich are keen on selling Mane. He told SkySports:-

“Bayern Munich will try to offload Sadio Mane in the summer. From a sporting point of view, Thomas Tuchel has no plans with Mane as he doesn’t fit his system. This is my information. The player is seen critically internally.”

But in current situation, Mane wouldn’t fit into Arteta’s system. He wouldn’t fit the profile of what Arsenal need this summer.
