The England and Wales Cricket Board along with the Warwickshire County Cricket Club will be holding a probe.

This probe has come regarding the racist abuse that a section of the fans faced on the 4th day of India vs England 5th Test.

A gentleman by the name of Azeem Rafeeq had posted about this abuse previously as well on Twitter.

This time around the abuse was rather serious.

When they complained about the racist abuse to the stewards present at the ground, they just asked the fans to sit down.

Both ECB and Warwickshire County Cricket were pained to hear the news of this and said that no one should face any form of abuse.

That’s why they have decided to launch a probe where they will talk with the stewards of the particular section as to what unfolded on the ground.

Both authorities have issued statements where they have strictly spoken against racial abuse.

Stuart Cain, chief executive of Warwickshire County Cricket also said that he has personally spoken to the gentleman who posted about the abuse taking place.

Once both the authorities receive full facts of the event, they will then quickly address the issue.
