Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez was lauding his teammate Raheem Sterling. Fernandez said that the Englishman is very quick and Chelsea players try to play him. Despite having loads of quality in attack department, the Blues are lacking the performance. One such player is World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez. Besides him, players like Sterling, Mudryk, Cole Palmer and Nkunku are also huge talents. The English winger is heavily relied on the progression of the ball by the Blues. He has six goals and four assists so far this season.
Speaking on Premier League YouTube channel, the Argentine was in full praise for his superstar winger. Fernandez believes that Chelsea heavily rely on Sterling as he is very quick with his feet. He said,
“Sterling is very tricky… Yeah he’s really fast. It’s true that he’s very good in one-on-one situations. We always try to get the ball to him cleanly so he can isolate himself 1v1 which is what he’s best at.”
Undoubtedly, Raheem Sterling is one of the fastest players in the English league when it comes to dribble the opponent. However, fans have only seem him performing in some patches throughout yet. Honestly, there have been some drops off in the level of him. If he wants to be a sure starter for the club, he must improve now. With a return of Christopher Nkunku, the competition for the attacking lineup is heating up. Mauricio Pochettino will also be wishing to have his best forward as soon as possible and get back to the winning ways. The Blues are currently mid table and the return of Nkunku will definitely give them an upper hand in their performances now.
