Erling Haaland return dates confirmed by manager Pep Guardiola

Pep Guardiola has revealed the return dates of Manchester City striker Erling Haaland. It was during City vs Aston Villa when Erling Haaland sustained an injury setback. The Norwegian was also dropped from the squad against Luton Town last week. Moreover, the problem still remains of his absence when City will be heading to Serbia for the Champions League group match. Speaking to the media on Tuesday at the Rajko Mitic Stadium, Pep shared the date when the juggernaut striker will be back in action. He said,

“He’ll be back I think on Thursday. We’ll see how he feels.

The Spanish coach also said that an assessment of his fitness will be made on Thursday. It will decide whether he will be available for City’s last Premier League clash before the Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia or not. Crystal Palace will travel to Etihad on weekend before the Sky Blues head to Middle East. Besides this, the Cityzens will also be looking forward for their consecutive victories.

Pep Guardiola was much optimistic about the Norwegian Viking and his availability for the FIFA Club World Cup. In addition to this, he is also optimistic about the return of Belgian winger Jeremy Doku. Speaking after the Luton game, he told,

Maybe one week, two weeks”.

It looks that the Belgium international winger currently has a muscular problem, but “not a big, big issue”. Be sure to keep a look on the journey of Man City during their campaign in Saudi Arabia. The champions from all the continents will meet there for the glory of the global kings.
