The deal to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund is said to be in its final stages. The confirmation should be made public by either of the parties in this week only. The Norwegian striker is reportedly going to take the big step. He is set to join Premier League giants Manchester City. Moreover, about the transfer that is thought to be in its final stages. The Athletic further reports that Haaland to City is now looking like a ‘done deal’.
There are still some details pending in the deal which should be confirmed in the coming days. However, this should not be a hurdle in the completion of the deal. According to Sky Germany, the Haaland deal is ‘nearing completion’. Moreover, it has come to be known that the striker has informed Borussia Dortmund about his leaving the club this summer. Further it had been revealed that Manchester City CEO Ferran Soriano had informed Dortmund official Hans-Joachim Watzke last week that City are ready to pay the release clause of Haaland.
