ESPN pundit Steve Nicol asks Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp to shut his mouth on kick-off times. Jurgen Klopp was furious on the kick-off time for Liverpool games recently. Speaking on ESPN, the pundit and former Anfield star was raging on the German manager. He condemned how Liverpool boss once again goes after the Premier League before their clash with Man City this weekend. Nicol said,

“Owners need to turn around and to Jurgen Klopp and say ‘shut it, stop complaining’. If they know that, they’ve accepted it, tell him to shut his mouth then and stop spouting off.”

After a huge midfield overhauling, Klopp is trying to challenge for the title glory and wants his players to be fit. However, kick-off times are playing a big role and Liverpool have the first fixture after the international break. Most of the Reds are out on international duty and will have a little time to rest after the return. Owing to all this, Klopp seems to be right to complaint for this.

For the English teams competing in Europe, too many games are being played for them. Klopp’s side will be playing in four competitions heading into 2024. Owing to all this, the former Dortmund manager has the right to be furious when some of the club’s games are scheduled to kick-off just after international break. Moreover, he has been a leading voice in the way fixtures are planned. It will not lead to any change in the timings but for someone having this aura, it is worth giving a look into.
