Federico Valverde has always been a desire for Mauricio Pochettino since his arrival at Chelsea. Fichajes writes about a ‘bombshell’ transfer deal between the Spanish giants Real Madrid and Chelsea. Moreover, the deal is reported to involve a swap between Reece James and Federico Valverde.
The report claims that the this possibility came to light in ‘recent days’. Furthermore, the swap deal may take place in the next summer transfer window. It is not a secret that Real Madrid are looking for a replacement of Dani Carvajal. After missing out on Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, Real Madrid is going for Reece James as an alternative for the Spanish. The deal may be a success because the Bles will not let the Englishman leave for money. Consequently, a swap deal is looking like a favourable possibility.
However, the only problem in landing the deal is both the player and the club does not want to part ways. Federico is even one of Carlo Ancelotti’s “key pieces”. Also, the Uruguayan International is capable of playing in different positions including central midfield, wings and wide midfield. This gives Carlo Ancelotti a reliable and easy option to switch for multiple positions So, if Chelsea want to bring the Uruguayan to the Stamford Bridge, they will have to work really hard convincing Rel Madrid to make the swap deal possible.
