ICC Men’s ODI rankings: Shubman Gill hop on to No. 3 spot, Virat at No.10

In the latest ICC Men’s ODI rankings, Shubman Gill leaps to No. 3 Spot. Pakistan’s skipper, Babar Azam, continues to exist at the top.

Shubman Gill’s brilliant knock of 67 not out off 62 deliveries against Nepal in the ongoing Asia Cup helped him to surge to the top 3. In the ICC Men’s ODI rankings, India’s two batters, Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan, have made noteworthy progress. Ishan Kishan’s ICC ODI ranking poses at No.24.

While Shubman Gill is currently at the highest of all other Indian batters in the ODI rankings, former skipper Virat Kohli is at the No.10. Previously, Gill created history by evolving as the fastest Indian batsman to achieve 500 ODI runs.

Talking of the current wicket-keeper batsman of India, Ishan Kishan, he has made it to the top 25 of ICC Men’s ODI rankings. The 25-year-old youngster also features in the 200 club in ODI’s. His crucial knock against Pakistan in the Asia Cup displayed his class in the game. Meanwhile, he jumped to the 24th spot in the latest ODI rankings.

Pakistan’s skipper Babar Azam is persisting at the No. 1 spot in the ICC ODI rankings. Babar Azam holds the No. 1 place with 882 rating points.

South Africa’s batsman Rassie Van der Dussen bears the No.2 spot in the ICC ODI rankings with a total of 777 rating points.

In addition, talking about the ICC Men’s ODI rankings relating to bowling, Pakistan ace pacer Shaheen Afridi surged to the number fifth position. Moreover, he leaped four places to sit at No. 5. Spot. India’s pacer, Mohammed Siraj, is the No. 8 spot along with Australian leg spinner Adam Zampa with 652 rating points. Australia’s fast bowler Josh Hazlewood is at the No.1 spot with 705 rating points.
