Italian manager may appeal to Sir Ratcliffe in case Erik Ten Hag gets sacked by United

Manchester United

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has recently taken over the command of English club Manchester United. Now, Roberto De Zerbi can appeal to Ratcliffe if United are to sack Erik Ten Hag. The Red Devils recenlty annoinced that Sir Ratcliffe has taken over 25 percent shares of the club. He will be the one calling the shots once the deal is ratified by the Premier League. Moreover, the future of the Dutch manager will be decided then.

The Red Devils, who finished third last term, are currently eighth in the Premier League. They’ve lost more games than they’ve won in all competitions this campaign. If Ten Hag is unable to improve the current image od the club, he will surely be forced to leave the club. In case of such a circumstance, Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi will appeal to the club as per Dean Jones. He said,

“It might be that if and when ten Hag does go, Manchester United take a chance on De Zerbi because he has shown what he can do in that Brighton set-up.

I’m not really buying that they’ll go for somebody like Zinedine Zidane or anyone down that route because I think you’re going to have to be willing to work within certain confinements, particularly in the early days as they start to get to grips with the changes that are going to be going on.

However, things are still at helm for Erik Ten Hag. If he can improve the standards of the club and performance, he will not be the one sacked.
