India’s stand-in skipper Jasprit Bumrah was quite disappointed with India’s performance in the final Test match.

He said that India’s batting in the third innings was not up to the mark which led to the game slipping away from them.

But, Bumrah also praised the performances of all his teammates in the first innings.

Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja notched up centuries that led India to a huge score of 416.

But, in the second innings, India faltered rather badly and lost 7 wickets in just 92 runs.

Bumrah said that although they dominated the game in the first three days, Test cricket is all about giving better performances in each of the five days.

Bumrah also said that it was a great honour and learning experience to lead India. He also said that he got a lot of new learnings and became more involved in the game.

He further went on to say that he always enjoys responsibility.
