Former Tottenham man Jermain Defoe has said that he is really impressed with the Liverpool winger. Defoe praised Liverpool man Mo Salah’s gameplay so far in this season. Speaking on Premier League Productions, the former Tottenham superstar lauded the £34m winger after game against Nottingham Forest. The Egyptian brought his goal tally to eight goals and four assists in ten Premier League matches. Moreover, Liverpool stand 4th in the table behind Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City. Its been quite an impeccable season for Salah after a summer of uncertainty.

Defoe told what impressed him the most about the Egypt international. He said,

“Just goal involvements. Standards are high. Consistency. He’s an athlete. When he gets into these areas (edge of the box). I mean that is unbelievable.

“The way he drags it back and rolls it through his legs (for Liverpool’s second goal). He is so effective in the final third. That’s amazing thing, isn’t it? That skill. Wow.”

Liverpool are looking to be back in their best form so far. It can be arguably said that the recent form of Salah is a massive reason for the performance. Liverpool fans will be hoping for Salah to continue his magic and get them hands on some silverware after a nightmare last season. Though, there are still some rumours about his links with the Saudi League. Despite this, the supporters at Anfield will like their king to remain at the centre of the park and lead the forward in the same way he has been doing since long.
