Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Jesper Lindstrom can be next transfer target for Arsenal in this summer transfer window.
Gunners could sign off a remarkable summer of spending, should they add excellent signing this summer. They’re currently monitoring different options available in the transfer market.
Arsenal already welcomed the likes of Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber and their long-term target Declan Rice this summer. Manager Mikel Arteta is still not looking to slow down in his pursuit of new signings.
Therefore, Gunners are now tempted to sign Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Jesper Lindstrom to continue their transfer spree. They were once linked with the player back in April.
Lindstrom is a versatile midfielder and his arrival could offer necessary depth to Mikel Arteta’s squad next season. The Denmark international has risen to great prominence since the joining the Bundesliga back in 2021.
His teammate Kevin Trapp praised the 23-year-old and highlighted his adaptability :-
“Jesper is very young and came from a different league. The Bundesliga is a tougher league than the Danish league, you have to get used to it. It’s normal, and everyone in the club and the team knows that. Jesper has already made significant steps forward… you can see that he’s an outstanding footballer and has very good technique.”
Jesper Lindstrom scored nine goals and provided four assists for his club last season. His steady progress in recent years has been quite phenomenal.
The only roadblock in this move will be his pricetag of £50m(£43m). However, Sporting Director Edu Gasper has already showcased his huge outlays this window.
