Journalist Mike Keagan claims after Liverpool are currently under on Middle East’s Agenda for takeover the club’s ownership.

Speaking on the Daily Mail, Keagan suggests that Qatar have an amount of $8.5 billion to take over a English club. However, United deal with Sheikh Jassim have collapsed as the he wanted full ownership of the club.

Hence, as a result, Liverpool can come under Qatar’s radar. Arab state is eager to to Saudi’s footstep and buy one of the most of the most historic club in Premier League’s history.

Journalist discussed the matter and said :-

“What I know about is that they set aside $8bn for this project. That money is there and ready to go. It will be burning a hole in their pocket.

“What a story that would be, if they were that way inclined. From what I am led to believe they are very disappointed and angered at how this has played out.

“What better way to respond than go to United’s biggest rivals down the road and throw all the money you were going to put into United into making them pay for that decision not to sell to you.”

Journalist also gave reports about Sheikh Jassim’s interest

Keegan also suggests that after United’s failed bid, Sheikh Jassim might aquire their Premier League rivals. He said :-

“The Qataris set aside about $8 billion (£6.57 billion) for the United project.

“That money is there and ready to go, burning a hole in their pockets, so what a story that would be [to buy Liverpool].

“What better way to respond than to get United’s biggest rivals from down the road and throw all that money you were going to throw into Manchester United into making them pay for that decision not to sell to you.”
