Journalist claims Saudi club officials now in Liverpool to sign Salah

Liverpool

Journalist Rudy Galetti claims club officials of Saudi club Al-Ittihad have travelled to Liverpool to sign Mohamed Salah this week.

Galetti shared more information about the current situation surrounding the Egyptian international. However Jurgen Klopp suggests that Salah will not leave the club this summer.

Reds are looking for one more midfielder this summer. Likes of Ryan Gravenberch, Cheick Doucoure and Kalvin Phillips are under their radar for this window.

Liverpool also needs to prevent any first-team player leaving the club this week. Reds have already lost Roberto Firmino, Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and Naby Keita in this transfer window.

However, recent reports suggest that Al-Ittihad officials are now in Mersyside to convince Salah to join the club. They have all the money to convince Liverpool to sell their Superstar this summer.

Journalist Rudy Galetti shared information about the situation :-

“An important delegation of #AlIttihad travelled to #Liverpool for the #Salah deal.

“The aim is to convince #LFC and Klopp to let the [Egyptian] player go.

“In all likelihood, the bid already sent (more than $100m [£79m]) will be increased as an extreme attempt at persuasion.”

Journalist Dean Jones suggested on Rank FC Podcast that money from middle-east has turned Salah’s mind. Ben Jacobs shares that the Egyptian will earn £180m a year, if he join Al-Ittihad.

However, Liverpool simple can’t afford to loose Salah at any cost. Reds currently looks to challenge for the league title this season.

Anything can happen in these penultimate days of the summer transfer window.
