Journalist claims that Mbappe’s move to Arsenal isn’t possible

Journalist Ryan Taylor have told GIVEMESPORTS that Kylian Mbappe’s move to the Emirates this summer isn’t possible financially.

The 24-year-old future at PSG is up in the air at the moment. Club President Nasser Al-Khelaifi has spoke about Mbappe’s future in a recent press-conference. He said :-

“Our position is very clear. If Kylian Mbappe wants to stay – we want him to stay – he needs to sign a new contract. We cannot let the best player in the world right now leave for free. That is impossible.”

Mbappe’s contract expires next summer and so PSG want to offload him in this transfer window to avoid him leaving on free. As per Transfermarkt, the France international is worth around £154 million.

Independent’s Miguel Delaney, Mbappe will prefer to join Arsenal, if he ever end up joining a Premier League club. Gunners can also offer Champions League football next season if a move could materialise this summer.

However, GIVEMESPORTS’ journalist Ryan Taylor claimed that the idea of Mbappe joining Arsenal is ridiculous. He said :-

“Talk of Mbappe is just ridiculous really because if you look at the financial outlay of that deal, I know it’s one that fans just sort of fantasise about, but it’s just not financially possible or viable. Certainly in this transfer window.”

The idea of spending more than £170 million on one players looks unlikely for Arsenal. They’ve already have loads of attacking options at their disposal and Gunners have signed Chelsea Kai Havertz this summer to provide strength at the top.
