Journalist John Cross claims that West Ham starman Declan Rice has made up his mind to join Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

According to Sky Sports’ Back Pages Podcast, it may be too late to stop Declan Rice fron Arsenal this summer. The midfielder is ready to move to the Emirates.

Rice has been strongly linked with Arsenal for months now. As per reports, Gunners have agreed personal terms with the English midfielder.

However, West Ham United have rejected two bids from Arsenal, as it didn’t match their asking price. Hammers nows the fact that other clubs might enter the race now.

Journalist John Cross has reported that Rice is dead set to join Arsenal this summer. He also claims that the 24-year-old has made up his mind and it could be late for Manchester City or any other club to come in and hijack this deal.

Cross gave his verdict on the midfelder and also said :-

“I think Arsenal and West Ham are just going through a process now and it’s being played out very publicly, previously it would have been a bit quieter. Other clubs would be interested in Rice.

“Man City have been the rumours in the past few days, but they are signing Matteo Kovacic. I do think Rice’s preferred option or what he has set in his head is Arsenal and I do think he’s almost made up his mind.

So I wonder whether other clubs are leaving it too late and Arsenal will just thrash out this business.”
