Journalist gives update on Mo Salah’s Saudi links this summer

Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol gives updates on Mohamed Salah’s rumoured move to Saudi Arabia in this transfer window.

Currently in Middle-east, number of Saudi clubs are interested in signing the Egyptian this summer. Salah is regarded as one of the finest attacker currently in the world.

However, manager Jurgen Klopp has denied the rumours as he believes that Salah will stay at Liverpool. He said :-

“There’s nothing to talk about from our point of view.

“ Salah is a Liverpool player. Obviously for the things we do, essential.

“There’s nothing there. If there would be something, the answer would be ‘no.”

Meanwhile, Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol suggests that Salah will end up at Saudi at some point of time. He said :-

“I think as far as the Saudi’s are concerned, they are almost obsess with signing Salah. And the reason for that is he’s the most famous player in the Arab world. He’s an absolute hero and Saudi Pro League wants to be one of the leading leagues in the world a quickly as possible and they want Salah playing in the Pro League.

“I’m not sure it’s going to happen this window. But he’s only got two years left on his contract and the Saudis are willing to throw as much money as it takes. I’ve just got a feeling that sometime in the future he will be playing for Al-Ittihad.”

Salah is currently Liverpool’s highest earner at the club as Reds tighed him down on a new contract in July. But the emergence of Saudi clubs and their money can change everything.

Over 225 players joined the Saudi Pro League this summer and the count continues. With this current growth, it can become very big in next few years.
